A rapidly growing cloud based Technology Company is looking for a Sales Executive to join them.
They have a highly structured sales approach which is extremely effective. The customer journey begins with exciting and relevant content pushed through the multiple digital channels. Leads are created through engaging marketing campaigns, along with traditional prospect calling. Leads are developed and nurtured by executives who offer advice and guidance every step of the way.
As the Sales Executive you will need to be Ambitious, with the energy and drive to follow-up leads to closure, whilst balancing this with a professional and customer focused approach and manner. You will be results orientated and have the motivation and determination to meet individual and team targets.
Communication underpins our success and is equally important with our customers as well as the internal team. An eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Active listening is key to success to ensure that the customers’ concerns, barriers and pain are fully understood, and to then handle objections.
Customer service excellence is essential, and you will be constantly striving to meet the changing needs of the customer and anticipating their future needs, before they do. You will be up for change and have the flexibility to adapt to meet the changing needs of the customers and the business.
Time management is also important, working systematically and prioritising workload to meet individual and team targets, and customer needs.
Reporting to the Sales Director you will be an integral part of the Sales team.
” Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
” Triage incoming leads i.e. qualifying and evaluating leads, and if appropriate directing them to the correct sales persons
” Manage small business leads through to closure, and manage the relationship with these customers including answering their questions and queries, and keeping regular contact with them, with the view to growing the account
” Proactively research markets and organisations
” Create proposal documents to potential customers
” Prepare and give presentations to potential customers to demo our service
” Update the Company’s CRM to ensure customer records are up-to-date in a timely manner.
” At least 1 years’ experience of working in a similar role in a fast-paced sales environment demonstrating skills in cold calling, qualifying leads, demonstrating the service/products value, managing objections and closing, is essential
” At least 1 years’ experience of giving face to face and/or over the telephone presentations to sell a service/product, is essential
” Experience of working with a CRM is essential, and with HubSpot is desirable
” Experience of working in the technology industry is desirable

The salary is circa £20,000 per annum with OTE of £30k if on target. Commission is uncapped. We also offer 25 days holiday per year and a contributory pension scheme.
The role is based in our Basingstoke office. Some travel may be required to conferences, customer premises and other business events.
