Overview
A well-established, prestigious Recruitment Payroll company are looking to take on a field based Business Development Manager to cover the South East. You will be working with a friendly team and will receive a competitive salary and excellent company benefits.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Identifying prospects using a range of techniques including online research, outbound calling, and face to face meetings
- Network effectively so as to increase the number or potential referrers
- Sell the benefits of working with the company and negotiate effectively in a very competitive marketplace
- Arrange and attend appointments.
- Deliver informative and engaging workshops and technical updates, contribute to the preparation and delivery of sales pitches
- Continue to build the products and services and implement the new technology that will be required to grow.
The Business Development Manager must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience outbound B2B phone sales
- A minimum of 2 years generating appointments for self/others
- A minimum of 5 years working in a results driven sales environment, working to KPIs
- Experience in recruitment services, payroll services or financial
- Proven experience of researching, mapping and nurturing new prospects.
In return the Business Development Manager will receive a salary of £35000 with a realist OTE of £70000 and excellent company benefits including: a competitive commission structure, 5% employer pension contribution, study support, 23 days’ annual leave, your birthday off, free parking and employee discount scheme. This is a field-based role so working from home but will be required to visit the office once a week. This would suit someone living south of the M4 so Bath, Southampton, Bournemouth or Swindon.
The working hours for the Business Development Manager will be 37.5 hours per week between 8.30am – 5pm with some over night stays and travel required.
